ABSTRACT: This study investigates the effectiveness of blended learning models in technical education, highlighting the integration of online and face-to-face learning to enhance educational outcomes. The objectives were to (1) evaluate the impact of blended learning on student engagement and performance, (2) assess the challenges and benefits experienced by educators and students, and (3) propose improvements to blended learning implementation in technical education. A survey design was chosen to collect data from students and educators in technical education programs. The sample size comprised 200 participants, selected through a purposive sampling technique to include those with direct experience in blended learning environments. The case study was conducted in Lagos State, Nigeria, a region with significant adoption of digital learning technologies. Findings revealed that blended learning models improved student engagement and performance, offering flexibility and access to diverse learning resources. However, challenges such as technical difficulties and varying levels of digital literacy were noted. Recommendations included investing in robust technical infrastructure, providing training for educators and students on digital tools, and continuously evaluating and refining blended learning strategies to address emerging needs.
